A Letter from Needak Rebounders Concerning Their 2009 Mini-trampoline Model

We thought we’d share this letter sent out by Needak Rebounders in response to various ‘rumors’ going around online.

A few years ago a web site known as ReboundersReviewed.com tested one of Needak’s mini trampoline rebounders. The rebounder tested was produced in late 2006. As some of you may recall, 2006 was a low point in our quality control and the management at the time allowed units to ship that were less than our best. After the company was restructured and the old management was replaced we began an aggressive campaign to review and upgrade everything about our mini trampoline rebounder.

Changes that have taken place since 2006 include, powder coat paint instead of automotive paint, redesigned hinge for easier movement when closing, redesigned carry bag to eliminate the frame hitting users at the knee or thigh, more uniform jump mats to better match the hole pattern in the frame, and spring improvements to extend spring life beyond 2 years. We have also modified the platform pin on the frame to which the leg tube engages making it 5 times stronger. We utilize robotic welding for more consistent welds. We have modified the leg spring making it easier for customers to pull up and over the platform pin and most recently we have added a zinc plated finish to the leg tubes for better corrosion prevention.

ReboundersReviewed.com received a number of comments from customers which prompted them to modify their review. Unfortunately they have the mistaken notion that we come out with a model year like automobiles and that each year has its own special construction. The truth of the matter is that we are always in a state of product improvement. We brainstorm modifications, consult with subcontractors who have design expertise, and implement testing before integrating changes on the product. One of our criteria is that all of our parts are backwards compatible with our older units.

We have asked reboundersreviewed.com to modify their wording and eliminate the misconception this is causing.

We, at Get Rebounding, hope this helps clear up any confusion customers may have about this high quality, made-in-the-US product.
